Fastforward releases FinanceToGo 1.6 for Mac, improves usability and more
December 20th, 2007 — Fastforward Software today released FinanceToGo 1.6, a free update to the small business finance application for Mac OS X. The update fixes several bugs, improves performance and adds a new interface with resemblance to iTunes and Mail. Several new features in version 1.6 improve usability such as a sidebar, app-wide search, quick transaction entry, flags and more. FinanceToGo allows users to track multiple accounts and thousands of transactions simultaneously. Transactions can be categorized, and graphs are automatically generated displaying where your money is being spent and on what. Reports and budgets can also be produced from the financial data you enter. International currencies and banking systems are supported, as well as the ability to import Quicken Interchangeable Format (QIF) format files for existing Quicken® for Mac users.
New features in FinanceToGo 1.6:
- Bug Fixed : P&L statement report now prints completely
- Better recognition of different dates
- Small buttons added to the transactions dialog to indicate you can create accounts or categories from there
- Fast transaction entry pane added
- Possibility to check, uncheck, flag, unflag transactions (reconciliation)
- Pie charts now default to the first sub-level that actually shows more than one sub-item (no more 100% pies with only one piece)
- Clicking on a pie-chart reveals the transaction beneath.
Pricing and Availability
FinanceToGo is available worldwide from the Fastforward Website. Purchases can be made through PayPal or using credit cards. FinanceToGo costs $44.95 (USD), and is available in English, Dutch and French with a Manual PDF and several example files for Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, Mac OS X 10.4. recommended - Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard supported.
