Fastforward releases Bin-it 1.4, adds Dock menu and more

Sheffield, United Kingdom — September 4, 2007 — Fastforward Software today released Bin-it 1.4 (http://www.fastforwardsw.com/products/binit/), a free update to the desktop trash can utility for Mac OS X. The update adds a Dock menu, eject symbol and an optional item badge.

Bin-it 1.4 provides quick and easy access to the Mac OS X Trash. It includes a floating trash can on your desktop (instead of the Trash being hidden in the Dock), a Trash Level Display and many adjustable options for trash themes, sounds, sizes, opacity and more.

Bin-it 1.4 changes:
⁃ Dock menu added
⁃ Eject symbol appears when dragging ejectable disc
⁃ Adds optional 'badge' on dock icon and floating trash displaying size or number of items
⁃ 'Max' trash level increased from 100Mb to 1Gb
⁃ Lock position preference added
⁃ Option of counting items in trash recursively or just top level
